Tradewins Mission Collection is distinguished by the straight lines and plain forms of the revered American Mission movement. This distinctive style was introduced at the turn of the 20th century as a tribute to the simplistic quality of the arts and crafts movement. Our translation of this sleek, timeless design adds a level of comfort, generous storage, and many quality details, like solid cedar English dovetail drawers with full extension glides for durability and safety. Featuring a warm brown finish complemented by antiqued brass hardware, the collection is constructed from domestic white oak that has been quarter sawn, a technique resulting in the tight graining characteristic of the craftsmanship of the originally designed Mission pieces.

The authenic Mission look of the quarter sawn white oak is perhaps at its most dramatic on the top of the family-sized rectangular dining table. The exquisite form of the legs and feet is directly inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and his protoges. Discreetly placed covers conceal the gap created by the leaves, giving a neat finished look to the tapered apron.
